CVF Operational Modalities

In November 2013, the CVF adopted a set of Operational Modalities in conjunction with its 2013-15 Action Plan to serve as the reference and guide to the functioning of the Forum as an operational body. The Modalities cover a range of topics including the Forum’s objective, its characteristics and the structure of meetings, membership and leadership/chairmanship, coordination and follow-up, as well as financing. They build upon the 2011 Dhaka Declaration, which recognized the important requirement of having enhanced clarity on the operational modalities of the CVF and took note, as a reference document, of a non-paper on provisional operational modalities as circulated at the 2011 Forum by Bangladesh.
